The eccentric shaft converts motor rotation into the periodic swing of the cone or the moving jaw, and is the direct source of the crushing force. Each blank is inspected for material and soundness on arrival, rough turned and quenched and tempered to relieve forging stress, then finish machined on large vertical and horizontal lathes. Journals and eccentric sections are turned in a single setup to maintain positional accuracy; seating faces are ground to drawing, and critical dimensions are measured and recorded piece by piece before the finished shafts are rust-proofed and placed into stock.

Forging, heat treatment and large-part machining are all carried out within the Sanland system, covering batch production of eccentric shafts for crushers from small to large sizes. Common specifications are held in stock, and dispatch can be arranged as soon as the drawing is confirmed, reducing downtime during crusher maintenance.
